Trevor

Trevor didn’t think he had been so not fine in years. Not since the time he’d sat his mother down at the kitchen table at the age of sixteen. He could remember feeling so nervous that it felt like something was gnawing away at his guts from the inside. Coming out to his mom had a happy ending, but he thought that wanting to sleep with his boss and finding the feelings reciprocated was slightly more complicated.

Valentine’s Day had ended on a rather tense and awkward note. As soon as Sebastian had made it clear he was physically reacting to what he’d seen, Trevor had felt like his brain had stopped working. The only thing screaming across his thoughts was the overwhelming sensation to walk around the desk and see just what it was Sebastian had been keeping out of sight.

A buzz jerked him back to the present and he looked around to find his phone vibrating on his desk. He grimaced at Darren’s name and muted the call, letting it go to voicemail.

Trevor had bailed on their Valentine plans after the awkward encounter with Sebastian. As much as he thought he might be able to get something out of his system if he’d let Darren come over, his heart hadn’t been in it. There were too many conflicting feelings bouncing around in his head for him to even think of being able to fuck someone else, especially when his thoughts were still locked on the mental image of Sebastian’s naked body against his.

Grumbling to himself, he forced his attention back to his computer screen. Which didn’t do him a whole lot of good. It was well into the evening, and everything he had left to do was organized and sent over. He was simply lingering in case Sebastian needed anything done at the last minute.

Which left him with more than enough time to think about what had happened the night before. And what had happened at lunch.

Jesus, he’d almost kissed the man.

The urge had been there. Screaming with a clarity and force Trevor had nearly given in to. He still had no idea what had stopped him, they were only inches away, and it would have been so easy.

But he hadn’t, and he wasn’t sure if he should be proud of that fact or disappointed. Both warred within him, and he was trying his best not to think too hard about what would happen if he was put to the test again. His self-control might be pretty strong, but even that could be tested only so far before he either had to give in or run for the hills.

Another buzz. This time a text from Darren.

You good?

Trevor grimaced, a stab of guilt going through him. He had canceled on Darren suddenly and without explanation.

Yeah. I’m okay. Just had a massive headache last night was all. He sent back.

Alright, just making sure. Wanna try for tonight?

Idk, depends on how long I’ll be here, still gotta work tomorrow too.

You and those long hours lol.
